Keep Calm and Go Coconuts.

Listen up y’all, I’m about to tell you about some crazy deliciousness over here. These Coconut Chocolate Balls are so delicious and only consist of four ingredients. In comparison to other coconut ball recipes, these have one secret - and different - ingredient that make these extra special but also extra delicious. This ingredient brings a light sourness and lightness to the overall texture of these coconut balls. Also worth mentioning is that this recipe is without added refined sugar and gluten free and nut free.

Coconut Chocolate Balls

18-20 pieces

INGREDIENTS:

150 g Greek Yoghurt

200 g shredded coconut

Approx 70 g honey or agave syrup

approx 150 g chocolate

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Combine yoghurt, coconut and honey or agave syrup in a bowl thoroughly.

  • Press a little bit of the mixture (approx 1-2 tbsp) in your hand to stick the mixture together and then form a ball. Keep doing this with the whole mixture and place them all on a plate.

  • Place the coconut balls in the fridge for at least 10 minute so they set a bit.

  • Meanwhile melt your chocolate, preferably, placing the chocolate in a hot resistant bowl over simmering hot water. Melt it thoroughly until completely creamy.

  • Then, dip the balls, one at a time, in the melted chocolate and then let the coconut balls set on a lined plate with baking paper, preferably in the fridge.
